2019 Fall Trip - Colorado
Thanks for taking time to visit my blog. The galleries below are a portion of the images I captured while in Colorado to capture the Fall color. I stayed in Estes Park and ventured into the Rocky Mountain National Park everyday and explored many other areas while there. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the amount of wildlife that was available to capture. There were thousands of people around so I will attribute the lack of wildlife to that fact. All in all it was a fantastic trip with many great days and mornings of shooting. The weather was mild and comfortable but I was really hoping for some snow. Now it is on to my next adventure...The Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Watch for that blog posting soon.
The equipment I will be shooting with will primary be Nikon D-850's and the Nikon 180-400. However, I will be shooting with the Nikon 14-24, 24-70, 70-200 and maybe even some macro with the Nikon 200 mm f-4 macro. I will be flying a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone also for some aerial shots and video of the mountains but NOT in the National Park.
This first galley was captured at the St. Louis ZOO while traveling to Colorado
