When Nature Growls
This is the second image from this location but as the storm was moving toward my position. These clouds are called Cumulonimbus Mammatus which attach themselves to other cloud formations and are associated with severe storms. This thunderhead had a lot of lighting and winds as it moved across the desert.
This image is part of a Time-lapse sequence and is in Canyonlands NP looking down at the Colorado River.
