I captured this image in Canyonlands NP on a foggy morning. This place is amazing and around every turn there is another landscape to explore.

Night Spin

Nightscape photography is my new passion. I have spent many hours under the stars in total amazement. This image is a 200 image Star Trail capture. I photographed this with a Nikon D-850 / 14-24mm lens@ 30 sec exp / 3sec interval @ F2.8/ISO 400 / Edited in StarStax

Majestique Morning

The mornings in the mountains are beyond explanation. In this image I am approaching the upper altitudes of The Rocky Mountain National Park as the Sun was rising.

Among The Giants

I captured this image in Arches National park and in this view you can see the Tower of Babel to the right and the Three Gossips to the left. The main road run right through them and if you haven't been there you have to go, it is nothing short of amazing.

The Sun sets on another cold Winter day in the country. When I am not traveling around the US I love exploring around the hills and valleys where I live.

Goblin Valley

I love shooting the Milkyway. This image was captured in Goblin Valley Utah in the Spring of 2019. We are getting close to this year's season. Nikon D-850 16 Images stacked / ISO 6400 / 4 sec / F 2.8 2-Z-96 lights on a small stand were used 1 - The light used for the area in front of the camera was bounced off rocks behind me for a softer light 2- The 2nd light was direct light to the right of the scene to create shadows and highlights for contrast.

The Storm Dunes

I was in Colorado for a short trip in the Summer of 2019 and as I was out for a few days driving around the State I ran across the Great Sand Dunes. On this afternoon the sky was littered with storm clouds as the Sun began to rise.

Lakeside

I found this small lake in Colorado back in the Fall of 2019 while exploring the Brainard Lake Recreation Area. This was outside the park and I do not know the name of the lake. I was traveling along HWY 72 / Peak to Peak HWY. It might have been a seasonal lake.

Countryside

On this morning I drove into the countryside and was graced with a foggy scene as the Sun made her way into another day.

Misty Morning

The Sun breaks through the clouds and lights up the foggy landscape.

Ridgeline

I was hiking around Watson Lake in Arizona as the Sun was setting and came across this ridgeline. The Sunset only lasted a few minutes and it was getting dark so I hurried to capture this scene.

Pebble Beach

Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan has a lot to offer to the explorer that wants to take a bike and slowly circle the island searching out all it has to offer. This evening I found a little beach area with a tiny boat just off the shore. You can faintly see the Mackinac Bridge in the background.

The Night Awakens

I captured the Milkyway as the lighting illuminated the sky and storm . I captured 16 images of the Mikyway and stacked them but only used one foreground image and blended them in post.

Mackinac Bridge

The Mackinac Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of the U.S. state of Michigan. Opened in 1957, the 26,372-foot-long bridge is the world's 22nd-longest main span and the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere. The Mackinac Bridge is part of Interstate 75 and the Lake Michigan and Huron components of the Great Lakes Circle Tour across the straits; it is also a segment of the U.S. North Country National Scenic Trail. The bridge connects the city of St. Ignace on the north end with the village of Mackinaw City on the south.

Western Slope

The Rocky Mountain National Park is an incredible location to explore and photography. Every day offers something a bit different and you never know what your'll run into.

Winter Sunset

I captured this image after a fresh snowfall along Hwy 704 as the Sun was setting.

The Colorado Hills

In this image I am flying a DJI Phantom 4 Pro on a back road in Colorado as the Sun sets across the distant mountains.

The Windows

Captured on a Hike into Arches NP at Sunset. To get this image you have to climb and navigate a sketchy trail up the side of a cliff. Once there, you see this scene but right in front of you is a sheer drop to a rocky chasm below.
