The mornings in the mountains are beyond explanation. In this image I am approaching the upper altitudes of The Rocky Mountain National Park as the Sun was rising.
On this morning I drove into the countryside and was graced with a foggy scene as the Sun made her way into another day.
Nightscape photography is my new passion. I have spent many hours under the stars in total amazement. This image is a 200 image Star Trail capture. I photographed this with a Nikon D-850 / 14-24mm lens@ 30 sec exp / 3sec interval @ F2.8/ISO 400 / Edited in StarStax

Captured on a Hike into Arches NP at Sunset. To get this image you have to climb and navigate a sketchy trail up the side of a cliff. Once there, you see this scene but right in front of you is a sheer drop to a rocky chasm below.

This tiny Bird is a Yellow Rumped Warbler. As I was capturing these tiny birds I was wondering how the so gracefully sore through the trees and bushes without hitting them.

Early this morning I found myself on the Ohio River during Blue Hour. I can not describe how quiet it was at this location.
It was a rainy, gloomy day and a great time to capture Blue Herons. Here a Blue Heron takes off from its perch.

...and so it begins
I captured this image from Clingmans Dome in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park as the Sun was rising. The light is ever changing here and effects the landscape differently moment by moment.
I set out to capture Fall here in Kentucky and though there were many colorful examples of this glorious time of year I really felt that this bridge over the Cumberland River told a good story of Fall.
Early this morning I found myself on the Ohio River just as the Sun was starting to light the sky. The Ohio River was smooth as glass.
