Little Stream

I drove down several backroads on this dark and rainy morning just to explore areas I have never been before. I came upon this little stream, literally, out is the middle of nowhere. There was a small stick dam holding back the water and it seemed this was the remnants of an older crossing. If you look closely you'll see the tiny cave under the falls.

This is a 14 image Focus Stack. You might be wondering "Why so many Images"? Well, I wanted everything to be in focus, including the limbs in the extreme foreground to the left, which I wanted to use to frame the scene.

I used a 6 stop H&Y Magnetic Filter to slow the shutter down but not too much so I could retain detail in the water.
