Tiny Yellow Leaf
I took a walk along the Cumberland River after the dam was shut down and the water receded. There was a vast shoreline filled with molding rocks and small eddies of water scattered among the dark shore. Tiny yellow leaves were tucked between stones and floating aimlessly in the swirls of foam and debris.
I found this very pleasing to see and I loved the tiny droplets left behind like nourishment for the forgotten. This is but one of hundreds along the shore.
